Welcome to BodyRox Fitness Studios (“BodyRox”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of BodyRox facilities, services, membership plans, digital platforms, mobile applications, events, and related offerings (collectively, the “Services”).
By creating an account, purchasing a membership, using our mobile app, or entering any BodyRox location, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use our Services.
1. GENERAL INFORMATION
BodyRox is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and inclusive environment.
We ask that all members exercise responsible behavior and comply with all published policies to maintain an enjoyable space for everyone. These Terms apply to all BodyRox branches, programs, and digital platforms across Africa.
2. DEFINITIONS
- Member – Any individual who registers an account or holds an active or inactive BodyRox
- Mobile App – The BodyRox application available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store used for account access, membership management, and check-
- Membership Plan – Any subscription or package offered by
- Facility – Any BodyRox studio, gym, workstation, class area, or other physical
3. MEMBERSHIP & ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
3.1 Mandatory Mobile App Usage
BodyRox operates a self-service, digitally enabled membership model. All members must download and use the BodyRox Mobile App for:
- Registration and onboarding
- Membership management (activation, freeze, cancellation)
- Class bookings
- Attendance check-ins
- Payments and billing updates
- Purchasing water, merchandise, or in-studio items
- Accessing challenges, rewards, and fitness programs
Failure to maintain an active app account may result in loss of access.
3.2 Member Responsibility
You agree to:
- Keep your profile information accurate
- Maintain an active, valid debit/credit card
- Ensure your phone is functional for check-ins
- Follow all gym rules, safety instructions, and staff guidance
BodyRox may update app features or requirements at any time.
4. MEMBERSHIP FEES & BILLING
4.1 Membership Fees
Your membership fee grants access to BodyRox facilities and services.
Fees must be paid based on subscription plan or packages regardless of your usage level.
4.2 Automated Billing
- All billing is processed daily, based on your renewal
- For automated billing options, BodyRox will attempt to debit your saved card for up to five (5) consecutive
- If all attempts fail, your subscription will be cancelled until you renew or purchase a new plan.
4.3 Debit Card Updates
Billing is tied to your card, not your bank account.
You must update card details immediately if your card:
- Expires
- Is lost or stolen
- Is replaced
- Is blocked by your bank
Failed billing resulting from outdated card details does not exempt you from charges, penalties, or reactivation fees.
4.4 Price Changes
BodyRox reserves the right to adjust membership fees or billing charges at any time.
Members will receive reasonable notice of material price increases.
4.5 Automatic Renewal
Memberships operate on different timelines (e.g., daily, monthly, quarterly, bi-annually, annually) system. Your card will be charged in advance each month on your billing date.
You are responsible for ensuring your payment method has sufficient funds.
5. CLASS BOOKINGS
BodyRox reserves the right to modify class schedules, instructors, or capacity based on operational needs. Group exercise classes must be booked at least 45 minutes before the class start time via the mobile app.
6. MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION & FREEZE
6.1 Cancellation
You may cancel your membership at any time through the mobile app. Cancellations are immediate unless otherwise stated in your specific plan.
6.2 Freezing Membership
Members are entitled to freeze their accounts based on the subscription plan. You may review the details of your subscription plan for your specific freeze options. Additional freezes may incur fees.

7. GYM ACCESS & CHECK-INS
- Members must check in using the BodyRox Mobile App or QR code scanner.
- Unauthorized access or “tailgating” into the gym may result in suspension or
8. HEALTH, SAFETY & PHYSICAL CONDITION
By using BodyRox facilities, you confirm:
- You are physically able to exercise safely
- You have disclosed any medical conditions, injuries, or disabilities that may impact your ability to exercise
- You are exercising voluntarily and at your own discretion
BodyRox staff are not medical professionals and cannot provide medical advice.
9. ASSUMPTION OF RISK & LIABILITY WAIVER
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Using the gym involves inherent risks, including injury, illness, or
- BodyRox is not liable for injuries, damages, or losses arising from your participation in exercise
- BodyRox is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage to personal belongings anywhere on the premises, including parking
- You assume full responsibility for your health and safety while using BodyRox
Where permitted by law, BodyRox’s liability is limited to the value of your last monthly payment.
10. RULES, POLICIES & CONDUCT
BodyRox facility rules and training etiquette include:
- ENTRY IS EARNED, NOT ASSUMED: Access to the studio floor requires active membership or confirmed No exceptions.
- RESPECT THE SESSION IN PROGRESS: No interruptions, distractions, or side activities while a class is
- NO GUM, NO CHEWABLES: Maintain professional No chewing gum anywhere in the studio.
- DRINKS POLICY: Only screw-capped bottles are No fizzy/carbonated drinks, cans, open cups, or spill-risk containers.
- FOOTWEAR & DRESS CODE: No outdoor shoes, boots, heels, slippers, or No jeans. Wear proper training gear only.
- KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF MIRRORS: Do not touch, lean on, or place items against the
- EQUIPMENT IS FOR WORK, NOT REST: No sitting, perching, or lounging on machines or benches unless you’re actively
- RESPECT THE WEIGHTS: No slamming, throwing, or dropping Return every item to its original rack or zone immediately after use.
- CLASS TRANSITION PROTOCOL: Once your session ends, exit promptly to allow the next class to set up on

- SWEAT ETIQUETTE: Bring a Use it. Place it on benches/mats and wipe down equipment after use. Leave no sweat behind.
- NO FOOD ON THE TRAINING FLOOR: Snacks, meals, and chewing food are prohibited in all training
- BODYROX STANDARD: Show up with intention.Go hard or go
BodyRox may create or update rules from time to time. Members agree to:
- Use equipment responsibly
- Maintain gym etiquette and hygiene
- Treat staff and members respectfully
- Avoid conduct that may endanger others
- Follow posted and digital instructions
Violation of any rules may result in suspension or cancellation without refund.
11. EMERGENCY CONTACT INFORMATION
You must provide accurate emergency contact details and update them if they change.
12. NO WAIVER
BodyRox’s failure to enforce any provision of these Terms on one or more occasions does not constitute a waiver of our rights to enforce them later.

By downloading and using the BodyRox app, you agree to the following:
- Use Responsibly: Always consult your doctor before beginning any fitness You are responsible for your own health and safety.
- Data Accuracy: Rox Bricks, heart rate zones, and performance scores are algorithm-based estimates. They should be used for guidance,and not considered as medical
- Account Security: Keep your login details secure. Don’t share your account or impersonate
- Fair Play: No hacking, data tampering, or misuse of our Violations may lead to account suspension.
- Intellectual Property: All workouts, scores, designs, and software are property of BodyRox Fitness Studios

13. FACILITY AVAILABILITY & SERVICE CHANGES
BodyRox may, at its discretion:
- Change opening hours
- Add or remove equipment
- Modify class offerings
- Renovate or reconfigure space
- Adjust digital features, programs, or policies
- Close facilities temporarily for maintenance or events
Membership does not grant ownership or equity interest in BodyRox facilities.
14. DATA PRIVACY & SECURITY
BodyRox collects and processes personal data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) and international best practices. Our Privacy Policy (available on our website and app) explains:
- What data we collect
- How we use it
- How we protect it
- Your rights and choices
Use of the app constitutes consent to data processing necessary for membership functionality.
15. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & VENDORS
BodyRox may partner with third-party vendors for payments, merchandise, maintenance, or digital services. We are not liable for:
- Delays or errors caused by third-party systems
- Inventory shortages or vendor fulfillment issues
- Disruptions from external service providers
Members agree that vendor relationships do not create contractual rights for members.
16. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Any dispute shall first be addressed through internal resolution mechanisms before escalating to mediation or legal action.
17. AMENDMENTS
BodyRox may update these Terms periodically.
Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
